This is what I offer.  A no-nonsense, real food, sustainable approach to weight loss where you’ll learn to stop starving yourself and start nourishing yourself.

You see when you restrict calories or even worse, starve yourself, you can lose weight.  But weight includes fat, muscle and bone.   Losing muscle and bone mass make you fatigued, cranky and hungry!  That is NOT sustainable.

Healthy weight loss means losing fat without losing muscle and bone.  Simple dietary changes can do this.

30 Day Private Program

Ideal for those with mild health issues and looking to lose 5-20 pounds

90 day Get At The Roots Weight Loss Class

Ideal for those with more chronic health issues and weight loss goals above 20 pounds.

For this program I use a slightly more regimented approach than the 30 day program.

The Get At The Roots Weight Loss Program addresses the underlying issues of chronic weight gain such as digestive problems, nutrient deficiencies and hormonal problems.  This program is truly an in depth approach to nutrition and both chronic health and weight loss challenges.

This program is also taught in live group sessions that occur 2-3 times per year in downtown Northampton.  To learn more including the next class start date see

There are two options for working with this program in private sessions:

Option #1

6 bi-weekly sessions over the course of 3 months.  This is the option I usually recommend.  When we work together privately we can hone in on your specific issues and target the elements of the program that are specific to your needs.

Option #2 including Group Classes

12 weekly sessions over the course of 3 months.  Best for those who want  a very comprehensive education about nutrition while addressing their chronic health and weight loss challenges.  This is a great option for those that want the weekly accountability and the weekly support.  This is also a great option for those that would like to do the program with friends or family in a small, intimate setting.  I can do the program in groups of 3-4 in my office or even in your home.
