Weight Loss Program

Q: How does your weight loss program differ from others?

A: It differs in 3 ways.

1) This program is based on three essential scientific principles for healthy weight loss.  Please click on the 'Free Weight Loss Report' below which will explain these in further detail.  Any weight loss program that does not incorporate these principles is less likely to be successful. 


2) This weight loss program is designed to be easy.  You will not have to make dramatic lifestyle changes. You will not have to count, measure or weigh anything.  You will NOT be restricting calories and thus you will NOT be starving yourself.  As explained in the weight loss report, this is unhealthy and almost always leads to fatigue, stress and rebound weight gain. 

You will also not have to follow any sort of food index or point system and thus obsess over daily portions and amounts. You will get an approved food list with resources for recipes that make food choices and preparation simple.   As such, you will learn that it is NOT how much you eat but what you eat that really matters.

You will not be put on any time consuming, overly intensive exercise programs.  You will be encouraged to exercise but in a manner that is gentle and perhaps even enjoyable. 

3) This program incorporates a consciousness that most programs fail to recognize.  It is one thing to lose weight and keep it off, but it's another to keep it off AND learn what foods really promote good long term health.  You can be thin and get cancer and heart disease.  You can be thin and get type II diabetes.  Our food choices today are becoming more essential for supporting the underlying foundations of good health.  This program will not force you to buy local, organic, grass-fed or pastured foods.  But it will raise your awareness in a way that empowers you to make healthier food choices.  For that reason, this program can be used by anyone looking to address health issues beyond just weight loss.

Q:  Can you be more specific.  What other health issues can be addressed?

A:  This program is as much of a wellness program as it is a weight loss program.  Weight loss is just a byproduct of learning to eat the right way.  Many other chronic health issues can be improved including:

Q:  Can you tell me more about the details of the weight loss program? 

A:  Sure.  It is a simple, 8 week program designed by physicians at Biotics Research.   You can go to
www.bioticsresearch.com to find out a little more information.  Click on the 'Control-IT' link on the upper left corner of the home page.  It comes with a weight loss kit that includes an educational guidebook and audio CD.  It also includes 3 simple supplements.  The first is an omega-3 fish oil to support weight loss.  The second is an herbal anti-stress formula.  And the third is a protein shake that is used ONLY for snack replacements. 

Q:  How much weight will I lose?

A:  Everyone is different but you should expect to see healthy weight loss in the neighborhood of 1 to 5 pounds per week.   The purpose of the weight loss program is to incorporate simple dietary and lifestyle changes so that the weight will continue to come off after the 8 weeks.  However, if you hit your goal weight within that 8 weeks, you should expect to keep it off and to reap the continued benefits of good health.

Q:  How are the classes run?

A:  They are 8 weeks long.   The dynamics of each group is different and will dictate how often we meet.  Some groups like to meet every week, some like to meet every other week and some like to meet only a few times.  Generally speaking I've found most groups do well meeting each week for the first few weeks and then once the ease of the program becomes apparent, perhaps two or three times more thereafter.   Weekly conference calls are also possible.  Each class is an hour long.  They are meant for group support, for answering questions and for education.

Q:  How much do they cost?

A:  The cost for groups is $399 per person.   This includes everything, the weight loss kit and all the weekly meetings and phone calls.  There are no subtle, hidden additional fees in the form of additional supplements or packaged meals.  All the included supplements will last the entire 8 weeks.

I offer discounts for those that initiate a group class of 4 or more.  I also offer discounts to college students.

The cost for individuals ranges from $399 to $599 depending on how much support is needed.
